Sick hero call

Here's of the funniest hands I've had recently, it was only for 20bb's but what made it so funny is that it was the only hand the donk played at the table, he sat down, posted the blind, lost and left. Obviously I was very worried by his donk shove on the flop, luckily I had a GS draw and using some complexed mathematics I figured out I had the right odds to draw to my straight and made the call. Suprisingly I was already ahead (by quite a way).

End of year ramblings

I've been pretty lazy about blogging recently, I even missed the perfect opportunity for some kind of werid Wongaman/Santa photoshop. I keep meaning to post some funny hands but always end up forgetting. Earlier this month I put some WONGA on some random Euro site as sometimes on PKR there aren't enough games over 1/2 running (partially due to so many regs refusing to start games, you know who you are). I've managed to triple my roll on the site in a little over 4k hands playing 1/2euro.........obviously running really badly as I should have quadrupled it.

This is one of the funnier hands I've had on the site, I guy was playing very erratically and couldn't value bet very well which makes his range very polorised when he overbet shoves the river.

After a very good November, December got off to the worst possible start, I've not put in a huge amount of volume due to Christmas and being very inefficient at present shopping, but I have managed to get unstuck for the month with a nice heater over the last few days.

What goes up must come down

After being on a very enjoyable heater for the last few months, variance has finally caught up with me. I'm currently breaking even over the last 40k hands in cash games, this is due to the downswing I've experienced over the last couple of weeks (See graph). I've definitely not been play particularly well during this period, making stupid mistakes almost every session I play.

Hopefully I'll be able to turn things around before the end of the year by not playing awfully and getting a bit of run good.

Firstly my turn barrel is a little meh, but w/e. Anyway when he donk shoved the river I thought I'd show him how retarded his line is by folding and showing my Queen high/bluff. He obviously showed me Jack high. LOL wp sir.

The next hand was against a certain German player who I'm happy to say I don't particularly like due to the fact that the majority of the time he buys in for the minimum and rat holes (gets a double up and leave). This was one of the rare times he actually had 100bbs.
