Blogging Wars

Everyones favourite slowroller Thor O made a brief appearance at the tables this week, he didn't take kindly to my lighthearted dig at how he never updates his blog or maybe it was my spamming, anyway I'm now on his ignore list. So Thor if you're reading this please unblock me.

I've been putting in some really long sessions over the last week or so, this is partially due to the fact that I've been trying to play a lot of 5/10. As decent 5/10 games don't run too often, when I do get a seat on one I'll try to stay at the table for as long as possible. The month's going ok, breaking even at 5/10 and making some WONGA at $2/4 and 1/2euro. All-in EV wise I'm up a fair bit for the month, but I don't feel like I'm running particularly hot as I've suffered my fair share of coolers and suckouts. See below.

I obviously should have 4 bet pre to protect my hand. Hands like this aren't helping me to get out of my 5/10 rut. Thankfully 2/4 is funding my 5/10 shots.

Back home and ready to bring the ruckas to the tables

I've just got back from 9 days in Arizona with a group of Rollerblading friends, it's a great way to break up the winter plus it gives me a chance to skate some amazing skateparks and street spots. This year (it's an annual trip) we were 14 people deep so we rented a holiday home which was amazing for how cheap it was. We had a 50inch plasma TV with cable, a hot tub and gas BBQ. All in all it was an amazing trip and I'll be out there next year for sure.

A mini skate vid premier at our house

This was the view from a service area we stopped at.
As far as skatepark locations go, it doesn't get much better than this.

I'm probably going to get back to the grind tomorrow, I'll be happy if I can play 25k hands this month (I'll be even happier if I ship all the WONGA!!!!!!!!!!) as I've only played 7k hands so far. As for the year I'm hoping to play at least 360k hands (30k hands a month, 6923 a week, 986 a day, 41 per hour, and 0.68 per minute). I'm also going to try and update my blog more often this year as I've become pretty lazy about updates (and I know everyone is sooooooooooo interested in the life of Wongaman).
